Along the Canal du Midi, we will meet various dwelling barges whose history will be told by the captain, before spanning the motorway on the Pont-canal des Herbettes. We will pass in front of Port Sud and enter the Lauragais plain to go through 3 locks upstream, the locks of Castanet, Vic and Mongiscard. Stop about 12:00 for lunch if planned. Go back once at Mongiscard; the boat will be gliding under magnificent paths of ancient plane trees. Then, we will appreciate the country, INRA experimental breading and cultures and go through three other locks (logo) downstream.
